Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Sipi Falls (Mount Elgon Region)
Depart from Kampala or Entebbe and travel east towards Kapchorwa. Arrive at Sipi Falls and enjoy an afternoon birding walk around the waterfalls and surrounding cliffs. Evening relaxation at the lodge with scenic sunset views.
Day 2: Sipi Falls Hiking, Birding & Coffee Experience
Early morning hike to explore the three cascading waterfalls of Sipi. Enjoy birding along forest trails and cliffs.
Visit a local coffee plantation to learn about traditional coffee processing and enjoy fresh coffee tasting.
Optional activities include:
- Abseiling down the cliffs of Sipi Falls
- Nature walks and cultural interactions
Day 3: Jinja Source of the Nile & Sezibwa Falls – Return to Kampala
After breakfast, drive to Jinja with birding stops along the way. Visit the legendary Source of the Nile for a boat experience and scenic viewing.
Continue to Sezibwa Falls for a short nature walk and cultural storytelling experience before returning to Kampala or Entebbe for departure.

Day 1: Of 3 Days Uganda Birding Tour - Sipi Falls, Source of the Nile and Sezibwa falls, Transfer from Either Kampala or Entebbe to Sipi Falls at Mt Elgon
In the morning after breakfast, you will meet and greet with our driver guide and then be briefed about the safari tour and then embark on your journey to eastern Uganda for Sipi falls experience.The sipi falls river rises on the foothills of Mountain Elgon and the place is very popular as it forms the beautiful waterfalls and finally Dinner/overnight at your booked lodge.

Day 2: Of 3 Days Uganda Birding Tour - Sipi Falls, Source of the Nile and Sezibwa falls, Hiking Mountain Elgon
Early morning after breakfast at your booked lodge you will be transferred by our driver guide to hike Mountain Elgon exploring over 100 meters deep caves. These caves are very rich in salt and mineral deposits, our guide will take you further to hike to breathtaking falls with scenic views and sights.In the afternoon after lunch, you will have a community walk, visiting different local communities in the area and summarizing the day with Arabic coffee plantations.

Day 3: Of 3 Days Uganda Birding Tour - Sipi Falls, Source of the Nile and Sezibwa falls, Transfer from Sipi falls to Kampala, en route stopover at the source of the Nile and Sezibwa falls.
Immediately after your breakfast at the lodge, you will be transferred from, sipi falls to Kampala and have En route stopover at source of the Nile in Jinja. You will have a boat trip to the actual point of the source.On your way back to Kampala you will have another stop over at Sezibwa falls for scenic viewing, photography and an exciting walk to the top of the falls, retreat from sezibwa falls and Proceed to either Kampala or Entebbe for your late flight back home.
